Clean up contaminated solution (100 ml EB contaminated solution) Dilute contaminated solutions to meet the required concentration (≤0.5 mg/ml). In the fume hood, dilute 2 ml solution A to the final volume of 20 ml with deionized water, and dissolve 0.42 g of disinfectant B in water and fix the volume to 12 ml. Add solution A and disinfectant B working solution to 100 ml EB contaminated solution, stir and mix carefully (pH ≤ 3). After 24 hours of reaction at room temperature, the pH of contaminated solution was adjusted to 5-9 with sodium bicarbonate. A large amount of water is used to wash the reactants into the water tank. |
